Hello, World
We started on the same team at Snyk in 2022 and never really stopped collaborating — adjacent projects, side projects, late-night debugging sessions neither of us technically volunteered for. Somewhere along the way we’d killed enough ideas and learned enough lessons that writing some of it down started to feel overdue. So here we are — a couple of engineers with a good domain name and opinions.
What you can expect
- AI and LLMs — not hot takes, but what it’s actually like using these tools on real systems where mistakes cost real money. What surprised us, what flopped, what we’d do differently.
- Software engineering — architecture decisions we’ve wrestled with, tooling we have opinions about, patterns we keep reaching for and probably shouldn’t.
- Technical leadership — leading through ambiguity, aligning people who disagree, and shipping when nobody can agree on what “done” means.
- Building — side projects, tools we’ve open-sourced, ideas we’ve killed. What we’re making outside of work and what it’s teaching us.
First real post coming soon — once we stop overengineering it.
